It has gold gilt edges on three sides. It has the ribbon marker and a separate hard vinyl cover that the book slips into. It has a glued in the front cover is a letter from the then Kathleen J. Hoyt Colt's Historian thanking him for her signature series book. It has a special inserted signature page with Signatures from Ron Whitaker Chairman, President, CEDO Colt's Mfg. Co, Inc. and John A Kopec, and Kathleen J. Hoyt Historian Colt Mfg., and Dr. H Sterling Fenn Author, and Martin S. Huber Historian, Retired Colt's Mfg. Co. Inc. It has a glued in Picture of Dr. Fenn.
